First Visit

1) What can I expect at my first visit?

Dr. Berube will perform a thorough examination. We will take necessary x-rays as needed. Dr. Berube will review the treatment plan options and will consult with your general dentist about recommended treatment. Dr. Berube will then discuss your examination and x-rays and explain the recommended treatment options in detail. After the discussion, our patient care coordinator will discuss treatment costs and financing options.

2) Will x-rays need to be taken?

In some cases x-rays are needed to give the proper diagnosis. We will consult with your general dentist and obtain any useful radiographs they may have. In some cases, however, we may need to take our own x-rays while you are here.

3) How long will my first appointment be?

Please be prepared to spend about an hour with us. There are no other patients scheduled during this hour, so our full attention is on you.

4) You will be sent a copy of the letter that is written to your primary dentist.

We have found that this helps to keep the consultation findings, discussion and recommendations at your fingertips. This allows you to discuss it with a loved one or to just simply use it as a reminder.
