Treatment of Periodontal Disease
Procedures for the treatment of gum disease include, but are not limited to:
- Nonsurgical management
- Surgical corrective therapy
- Regeneration of lost bone and tissue
- Treatment of patients with periodontal disease and systemic disorders
- Dental cleanings and maintenance
Treatment of periodontal disease is not one size fits all. There are several factors that affect periodontal
disease and must be addressed to help stabilize the disease. These factors include, but are not limited to,
home care, control of systemic conditions and appropriate maintenance intervals. These factors are just as
important as the treatment itself. Dr. Berube will continually assess your individual condition and make
recommendations accordingly.
