Dr. Patricia Berube was born in Danbury, Connecticut in 1974. After graduating from Danbury High School with honors, she completed her undergraduate
education at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona resulting in cum laude honors with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology.
After working in a private practice for a year as a dental assistant and office manager, she entered dental school at the University of Connecticut
School of Dental Medicine in Farmington, Connecticut. She received the Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in May of 2001, along with the Quintessence
Award in Periodontics and the Fox Award, given to the "student judged to be the best all-around in the class".
In June of 2001, she immediately entered the three-year postdoctoral Periodontics program at the University of Texas Health Science Center
at San Antonio, which has the reputation of being the best periodontal residency in the country. She was admitted to candidacy for the
Master of Science degree at the Graduate School of BioMedical Sciences in 2004. Dr. Berube successfully completed the Advanced Education
program in Periodontics and Implantology along with a Master of Science degree in Periodontics in May 2004.
In December of 2004, she became a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. A Diplomate is a periodontist who has made significant
achievements beyond the mandatory educational requirements of the specialty and who is certified by the American Board of Periodontology.
Dr. Berube currently resides in Denton, Texas, after working in Boston for a year as an associate in a large periodontal practice.
She is happy to call Texas home and is happy to be a part of the Denton community.
